Because of the Bhutanese influence, the local handicraft industry has been producing the pouches due to the major demand, keeping the tradition alive for centuries. These are manufactured using the traditional Bhutanese Fabric representing a rich and complex repository of a unique art form. Available in various patterns and sizes, these are used to store significant items like gold/silver coins, religious, sacred items by the Bhutanese people living in the region. These are still used by many people due to its mesmerizing pattern.
